HUMBOLDT, SK – Big save Ben did it again.

Humboldt’s Air Force Academy Divison I NCAA committed goaltender Ben Motew made 56 often-miraculous saves, and Spencer Bell completed the come-back 8:59 into the second overtime as the Broncos rallied in the game and the series to win 4-3, and put the set as a whole at three wins apiece, respectively.

James Venne was equally brilliant in net for Melfort as he made 39 stops on the night.

It was the third game in four in a row in this Round 2 series that has gone to extra time, and every one of the six contests has either been by one goal or one plus an empty netter.

The Broncos were down 3-1 in the series heading into the weekend.
