Mustangs’ Eisner commits to Carleton (USports)

REGINA, SK – The Melfort Mustangs have confirmed that defenceman Bo Eisner has committed to Carleton University for the 2026-27 USports campaign.

Eisner, 21, has played in 148 regular-season, 32 post-season, and 10 Centennial Cup games, all as a member of the Mustangs.

He has 81 points combined over that span.

“Bo has been a great representative of our organization,” said the Mustangs Head Coach Trevor Blevins.

“He works extremely hard, plays the game the right way, and has been a key contributor to our group. We’re very proud to see him earn the opportunity to continue his hockey career at Carleton.”

Carleton University is located in Ottawa, ON and plays in the Ontario University Athletic Eastern Conference.

A native of Swan River, MB, Eisner was part of both of Melfort’s back-to-back Canterra Seeds Cup championships and Centennial Cup silver medals, and also won the gold medal with Team SJHL at the 2026 Viking Cup in Camrose, AB.

The Melfort Mustangs are excited to announce that Bo Eisner has committed to Carleton University for the 2026-27 U SPORTS season.

Eisner’s commitment is a testament to his hard work, consistency, and dedication both on and off the ice. Since joining the Mustangs, he has been a dependable presence in the lineup, bringing leadership and a high compete level every night.

Bo has been an important part of the Mustangs organization over the past three seasons, helping lead the team to tremendous success during his time in Melfort. During his junior career with the Mustangs, Eisner was a member of two championship teams and played a key role in the club earning two national silver medals.
