REGINA, SK – Mattias Radke made 43 saves, and Cobe Perlinger scored twice as the Kindersley Klippers kept their playoff hopes alive with a 3-1 win Tuesday vs. the Humboldt Broncos.

Cam Perlinger added two helpers in the victory, which brought the Klippers within two points of idle Estevan for the eighth and final playoff spot.

Brady Holtvogt stopped 37 shots in defeat.

Both Humboldt and Kindersley will be watching the Bruins play in Melfort tomorrow night, as an Estevan win would eliminate both of them.

In Weyburn, the Red Wings moved into a tie for fourth place with Nipawin with a 5-3 win over the Melville Millionaires.

Drew Molde led the way offensively with a pair of goals, and Josh Karman notched the winner at the 13:49 mark of the second period.

Melville remained in seventh place and would have still been there at the end of the night regardless of the results.

Finally, in Flin Flon, Joey Lies notched two goals and added a helper to help the Bombers cruise past the Nipawin Hawks 5-1.

Finn Werner made 20 stops in the Manitoban club’s 40th win of the campaign.

The Bombers have already clinched the No. 1 seed, and improved to 26-0-1 at home this season.

The last time a team went unbeaten at home in regulation in an SJHL season was in 1981-82, when the Prince Albert Raiders went 30-0 at home that campaign.
