Pearce, Rocha lead Red Wings to win vs. Terriers

WEYBURN, SK – Rylan Pearce sniped home the winner on a Weyburn power play with 5:45 remaining in regulation, and the Red Wings downed the Yorkton Terriers 4-2 on Wednesday.

Joey Rocha made 35 stops in the win, while Josh Karman also added a goal and an assist in his 200th career Junior A regular-season game.

Cash Lanigan replied with a pair of goals for the Terriers, while Callum Creig made 32 saves in defeat.

The victory moved Weyburn even with fourth-placed Nipawin on 66 points, though the Hawks hold the tiebreaker.
