CANALTA HOTELS SJHL PLAYER OF THE WEEK:  Greyson Reitmeier, Flin Flon Bombers
1996 F Greyson Reitmeier (Nakusp BC) has always been a solid 2-way performer; but his offense erupted over the weekend with 7-points in 2-games against the Melfort Mustangs.  Reitmeier scored a goal and two assists on Friday and then had a goal and three helpers on Saturday.  He`s close to establishing career highs with 7-goals and 14-assists in 20-games on the year.  Runner-up:  Jason Lavallee, Flin Flon.

IBAS SJHL DEFENSEMAN OF THE WEEK:  Clive Rozdeba, Kindersley Klippers
1996 D Clive Rozdeba (Calgary AB) has had a breakout season in his 20-year-old year and it continued this past week as the Klippers posted back to back wins on the road over the weekend, helped in large part to Rozdeba`s 2-goal, 2-assist effort on Friday in Weyburn.  He finished the week with 5-points and now has 3-goals and 16-assists in 20-games.  Runner-up:  Connor Sych, Battlefords.

SASKTEL SJHL GOALTENDER OF THE WEEK:  Nick Trenciansky, Kindersley Klippers
1996 G Nick Trenciansky (Surrey BC) stepped up with a 52-save shutout in Estevan on Saturday night to cap a week in which he also posted a 29-save win in Weyburn on Friday, allowing him to finish the week with a .966-SPCT.  Acquired a little over a week ago from the BCHL`s Langley Rivermen, Trenciansky is 2-0-and-1 overall with a 2.48-GAA, .943-SPCT and 1-shutout.  Runner-up:  Declan Hobbs, Nipawin.

SJHL ROOKIE OF THE WEEK:  Michael McChesney, Estevan Bruins
1997 F Michael McChesney (Dickinson ND) has been an impact player for the rebuilt, first place Bruins this season and he posted a goal and two helpers in three games played last week to continue his solid effort.  McChesney, who earlier this year had a 7 game point scoring streak, picked up a goal and an assist in a win over Yorkton on Tuesday.  He had an assist against Melville on Friday and now has 8-goals and 11-assists in 21-games.  Runner-up:  Curtis Meger, Estevan.
