SGEU MVP of the Week: Noah Houle, Flin Flon Bombers
The top team in the CJHL (according to the Top 20 rankings) continues every week they are led by someone different. This week it was blue liner Noah Houle. The Lindenwood commit found the back of the net twice (both on Friday night against Weyburn) and had four helpers as the Bombers continue to roll. Houle is up to 8 goals and 34 assists on the season which ranks 1st among Defenceman in the SJHL and 4th overall in the league.

Bourgault Forward of the Week: Cage Newans, Humboldt Broncos
When it comes to racking up points this week up front, there was no one with more points than Cage Newans. The Captain of the Humboldt Broncos led his team to a pair of victories at home by finding the back of the net once and helping set up five others. The Parksville, BC product currently sits in a tie for 8th in SJHL scoring with 12 goals and 23 assists.

SuperU Defenceman of the Week: Liam McInnis, Nipawin Hawks
Welcome to the Nipawin Hawks Liam McInnis! After being traded from the La Ronge Ice Wolves to the Hawks two weekends ago, McInnis made his Ice Wolves debut in a dominant 6-1 win over the Weyburn Red Wings where the 20-year-old found the back of the net and added three assists. He had five points total this week and the Hawks hope he can continue at this rate for them in the 2nd half of the season.

DirectWest Rookie of the Week: Kristian Coombs, Melfort Mustangs
It took some time to get settled into his new team, but in the last two weeks Kristian Coombs has been excellent in between the pipes for the Melfort Mustangs. In his lone game this week he earned his first SJHL shutout, making 27 saves in a 4-0 win over the Estevan Bruins. The Calgary product is 4-3 on the season with a 3.35 GAA.

Sasktel Goalie of the Week: Topher Chirico, La Ronge Ice Wolves
One of the busiest players this past week was Topher Chirico of the La Ronge Ice Wolves. In two games this past week he faced 88 shots and only allowed 3 goals. In the Ice Wolves 1-0 loss to the Bombers Wednesday, Chirico made 52 stops. While the 20-year-old has had an up and down season, the Ice Wolves hope this strong week will continue moving forward as the Ice Wolves push for a playoff spot.

Saskatchewan Player of the Week: Braxton Buckberger, Nipawin Hawks (from Saskatoon, Sask)
Braxton Buckberger continues to have a strong season for the Nipawin Hawks. The 20-year-old from Saskatoon continues to consistently produce for the Hawks as they are in the middle of a battle for the final four playoff spots. This past week Buckberger had three goals and two assists and is currently tied for 8th in SJHL scoring with 12 goals and 23 assists.
