SGEU MVP of the Week: Spencer Bell, Humboldt Broncos
Eat, sleep, score goals, repeat. That has been Spencer Bell’s motto all season with the Humboldt Broncos. This past week though was a little different for the 20-year-old Warman, Saskatchewan product as he registered five assists and chipped in with a pair of goals. Bell capped off his week with a four-point night Saturday in a 6-3 win for the Broncos over the La Ronge Ice Wolves. Bell is up to 40 goals and 35 assists on the season and is now 2nd in SJHL scoring.

Bourgault Forward of the Week: Cole Wirun, Notre Dame Hounds
The Notre Dame Hounds were a perfect 3-0 this past week with wins over the Yorkton Terriers, Nipawin Hawks, and Battlefords North Stars. Leading the charge offensively for the Hounds this past week was Cole Wirun. The 19-year-old potted a pair Sunday afternoon in the Hounds win over the North Stars. He is now up to 17 goals and 24 assists on the season.

SuperU Defenceman of the Week: Felix Allard, Estevan Bruins
Felix Allard of the Estevan Bruins continues to log plenty of minutes for his club and rack up the points as the Bruins continue their push for a spot. While Allard may be tied for the league lead in goals among Defenceman, the 20-year-old from McMasterville, Quebec had four assists this past week for the Bruins as Estevan went 2-1 in three games. Allard is 4th among Defenceman in points in the SJHL with 46.

DirectWest Rookie of the Week: Travis Bryson, Humboldt Broncos
Travis Bryson has soared to the top of the Rookie scoring race in the new year and this past week Bryson had the most points out of any player in the SJHL with eight. This included a four-point night Saturday at home as the 19-year-old found the back of the net twice and added two assists. Bryson is now up to 21 goals and 28 assists on the season which is 10 points ahead of the 2nd place Luc Bydal in rookie scoring.

Sasktel Goalie of the Week: Cody Jaman, Kindersley Klippers
Not many goalies can say they beat both the Humboldt Broncos and Flin Flon Bombers, and even fewer can say they did it in the same week. Cody Jaman stood on his head for the Kindersley Klippers this past week and was crucial in a pair of victories over two of the top teams in the league. In three starts this past week, Jaman made a whopping 119 saves and had a .937 save percentage.

Canterra Seeds Saskatchewan Player of the Week: Dazza Mitchell (from Regina, Sask)
Two games and two big wins for the Weyburn Red Wings this past week over the Melville Millionaires and Nipawin Hawks and starting goaltender Dazza Mitchell was a wall for the Wings in both of their wins including a shutout over their Viterra division rivals. The 19-year-old now boasts a 15-10-0-4 record on the season.
