SGEU MVP of the Week: Keagon Little, Estevan Bruins 

While the Estevan Bruins may have not been active on Trade Deadline Day, Keagon Little returning to the club following the holiday break was a massive addition to their line-up and it showed this week. The 19-year-old kicked off the week with a four point night against the Yorkton Terriers on Wednesday where he found the back of the net and added 3 helpers. He would then follow it up with a pair of goals against both the Notre Dame Hounds Friday and Battlefords North Stars Saturday. In just 5 games since re-joining the black and gold, Little has compiled 5 goals and 4 assists.

Sasktel Goalie of the Week: Jackson Miller, Estevan Bruins 

The Estevan Bruins have been without starting goaltender Cam Hrdlicka since returning from the holiday break, but stepping up in his place has been rookie netminder Jackson Miller. In three games this week he earned wins over both the Yorkton Terriers and Notre Dame Hounds, but then saved his best performance for Saturday where he shutout the 1st place Battlefords North Stars. Miller made 30 saves to not only hand Battlefords their first loss in regulation this season, but also earn his first shutout in the SJHL.

Directwest Rookie of the Week: Maddox Amaral, Humboldt Broncos

It was a good week for the Humboldt Broncos and it was a great week for rookie forward Maddox Amaral. The Komoka, Ontario product was key in the Broncos picking up 4 out of a possible 6 points this week which was highlighted by a great performance Saturday night at home against the Melfort Mustangs where he found the back of the net twice and added an assist. So far this season, Amaral has 8 goals and 7 assists in 26 games, which is good for 14th in rookie scoring.

SuperU Defenceman of the Week: Tynan Ewart, Battlefords North Stars

Despite suffering their first regulation loss of the season, it was still a good week for the Battlefords North Stars. The club picked up 4 out of a possible 6 points in a 3 game in 3 night road trip and Tynan Ewart was an anchor on the blue line for the club. In 3 games this past week, the 20-year-old defenceman had a goal and 3 assists, which included a 3 point night Thursday against the Notre Dame Hounds. With his 4 points this week, Ewart now has 6 goals and 27 assists this season, which is good for 33 points. He is tied with Alexsa Babic of the Estevan Bruins for scoring among Defenceman.
