REGINA, SK – Hudson Cameron scored the only shootout goal, and the La Ronge Ice Wolves edged the Flin Flon Bombers 5-4 in the shootout Sunday afternoon.
The contest extended the Bombers’ regulation unbeaten run to 16 games. It was only their second loss of any kind since Oct. 30, 2024.
Jerome Maharaj scored the winner at 14:40 of the third period as the Weyburn Red Wings snapped the Yorkton Terriers’ eight-game win streak with a 3-2 victory.
Finally, in Nipawin, the Battlefords North Stars earned the 4-3 overtime victory through a Braden Nienaber winner at the 2:04 mark of the extra frame.
It was the league-high eighth time the Stars have been to overtime this year.
