The Kindersley Klippers picked up a 5-4 win over the visiting Weyburn Red Wings on Sunday night.

For the time being that puts the Klippers (17-23-1-0) into a playoff spot, as they jumped a point ahead of Melville for 10th place in the overall standings.

Jordan Funk (1g-1a), Branden Wagner, Kyle Bosch, Holden Daley and Cameron Shorrock did the scoring for the Klippesr.  Wagner’s powerplay goal was his 20th of the season.

Tyran Brown scored a pair of goals to lead the Red Wings (18-20-1-4).  Donavon Lumb and Cody Chasse added the others.  That was the third of a three game trip for the Wings, who played in three one goal games, going 1-2-0.

The Humboldt Broncos picked up their third straight win, 3-2 over the Notre Dame Hounds.

After Ben Duppereault opened the scoring with his 27th of the season, just over a minute into the game for the Hounds, the Broncos rattled off three of their own in the first period, from Brett Horn, Brayden Camrud and Laramie Kostelansky.  Garrett Mason stopped 26/28 shots for the Broncos (23-16-0-1).
