REGINA, SK – The Yorkton Terriers are the first team in the 2025 Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League playoffs to book their place in Round 2.

Tate Schofer poked up a goal-mouth scramble 15:15 into overtime as the Yorkton Terriers eliminated the Melville Millionaires in five games with a 2-1 victory.

It was the seventh in the last eight SJHL post-season contests to be won by a single goal.

Callum Creig was brilliant in the win, as he made 37 stops to close the book on a wonderful Highway 10 rivalry series.

The Terriers will now have to wait to find out their Round 2 opponents.
