The Yorkton Terriers are proud to announce a new leadership group for the 2024-25 campaign.

20-year-old Forward Jaron Desnoyers will dawn the C, while veteran forwards Tate Schofer and Jeff Hammond will wear A’s this season.
Head Coach and General Manager Emery Olauson is excited about the new leadership group in the room.

“They all certainly gained my trust and the respect of their teammates in their own unique ways,” said Olauson. “Jaron grew into a leadership role last year, and I know, with Jeff and Tate’s help, can lead this group to meet its full potential,” added Olauson.

When asked about the captaincy, Desnoyers said it’s a proud honour.

“It means a lot,” said Desnoyers,” The Terriers organization has had a ton of great leaders with such a rich history, and to be able to have the opportunity to continue the legacy of past captains is an honour,” continued Desnoyers.

The Terriers open the 2024-25 Season tomorrow night for their Home Opener against Weyburn at 7:00 PM.
