Guillaume St. Onge scored 47 seconds into overtime, and the Notre Dame Hounds became the first team not from Yorkton to defeat the league-leading Battlefords North Stars this season, 3-2 (OT) at the Duncan McNeil Arena.

Jarrett Penner added a goal and an assist, while Cole Stevenson tied things up in the third period, forcing extra time.  Riley Kohonick had another nice performance, making 36 of 38 saves in goal for the Hounds (12-16-2-1), who snap a three game losing streak and sit one point back of the eighth and final playoff spot.

Quinton Loon-Stewardson had a goal and an assist for the North Stars (26-3-1-0).  Noah Form also scored and Adam Dmyterko made 17/20 saves, returning form injury in his first action since November 13th.

Adam Nobes had a goal and an assist as the Melfort Mustangs went into Melville and edged the Millionaires 2-1.

Luke Nkwama opened the scoring late in the first period for the Millionaires (9-17-2-4) but that was all the offense they would muster.  Zach McIntyre added one assist in his Melville debut, after being part of a trade that sent Luke Spadafora back to Humboldt on December 1st.

Nolan Kadachuk provided the winner for the Mustangs (18-8-2-1).  Tanner Martin made 24/25 saves in the win, while Berk Berkeliev stopped 25/27 shots for Melville.
