REGINA, SK – The Weyburn Red Wings stormed back from down 2-0 into the third period with four straight to rally past the Melville Millionaires 4-3 Monday.

Josh Karman’s tally at the 10:59 mark of the final frame was the game-winner, and Weyburn extended its unbeaten streak to 14 games (13 wins).

Ryan Roethke and Caden Drury led the way with a goal and an assist each for the Mils, while defenceman Simon Martin was the only Wing with multiple points on the night.

Weyburn’s streak has already eclipsed the season-high unbeaten run from a year ago, as the Flin Flon Bombers earned points from 12 straight contests between Sept. 29, 2023, and Oct. 27, 2023. Battlefords ran 16 games in a row the season before that.
