Bell, Broncos rally in third, stay alive

REGINA, SK – Another day, another thriller between the Melfort Mustangs and the Humboldt Broncos.

Canterra Seeds Saskatchewan Player of the Year Spencer Bell notched his first career playoff hat trick and the Broncos stayed alive in Round 2 with a 4-2 victory in Game 5 Saturday night in Melfort.

The Warman, SK native Bell scored two of his three goals in the third period, sandwiching Maddox Amaral’s game-winner at 12:26 of the final stanza.
