The Flin Flon Bombers are extremely excited to announce that hometown forward Joey Lies has committed to join The Mount Royal University Cougars!
The Flin Flon local was a fan favourite and an offensive mainstay for the Maroon and White over his past four seasons. Fully breaking out this season as a focal point on the power play and playing top line minutes. Joey, played in 176 games along with 43 playoff games. Posting 46 goals and 72 assists total, while also living out a lifelong dream in brining a championship back to Flin Flon.
Joey wore the Bomber Burst with tremendous pride, passion and elation. Joey was a fan favourite and was very connected to the youth within the community. Being a multi-selected RBC Ambassador.

Joey will be joining his older brother Justin at Mount Royal.
