The Humboldt Broncos are excited to announce the acquisition of 19-year-old forward Alec Saretzky from the Surrey Eagles.

Saretzky, from Saskatoon, S.K., will be coming to the Broncos after playing last season in the BCHL where he put up four goals and five assists for nine points in seventeen BCHL games in a shortened covid-19 season.

“Alec is a player we’ve had on our radar for quite some time, we were excited at the opportunity to acquire him. We think he will fit nicely into our forward group with his skill and touch around the net. The fact he is a Saskatchewan kid is a nice bonus for our organization as well.” Broncos general manager and head coach Scott Barney said.

Saretzky was a 4th overall Bantam draft pick to Melville in 2017, that same year he was also picked by the WHL’s Vancouver Giants in the 8th round. Alec played his three years of Midget with the Saskatoon Blazers, in his final season he put up twenty-five goals and thirty-one assists for fifty-six points in forty-four games.

The Broncos would like to welcome Alec and his family to the Humboldt Broncos organization.
