SGEU MVP of the Month: Carter Anderson, Flin Flon Bombers

Nobody found the back of the net more during December than Carter Anderson of the Flin Flon Bombers. In 6 games played, the 19-year-old found the back of the net 10 times. He also added 4 assists as the Bombers went a perfect 7-0 during the month. Anderson is now up to 24 goals and 13 assists in just 22 games this season. He is currently tied for 2nd in goals in the league and tied for 7th in points.

Bourgault Forward of the Month: Kian Bell, Battlefords North Stars

Kian Bell continued to see his name all over the scoresheet during December for the Battlefords North Stars. In just five games played during the month, Bell had 14 points (7 goals and 7 assists) and has now moved into a tie for 1st in SJHL scoring going into the unofficial 2nd half of the season. In just 19 games played, Bell has compiled 23 goals and 28 assists.

SuperU Defenceman of the Month: Noah Houle, Flin Flon Bombers

Leading the charge on the backend for the Flin Flon Bombers in December (and all season long) has been Noah Houle. The Lindenwood commit added to his point total during the month, averaging two points per game. The 20-year-old scored three times and added seven helpers in five games. He currently leads the SJHL in scoring amongst Defenceman with 8 goals and 34 assists.

DirectWest Rookie of the Month: Ben Costantino, Humboldt Broncos

Another blue liner who had a superb month of December was Ben Costantino of the Humboldt Broncos. The St.Albert, Alberta product found the back of the net four times and added seven assists. With the strong month, Costantino moves past Carson Olsen of the Battlefords North Stars for scoring leaders amongst rookie defenceman. The 18-year-old now has 9 goals and 18 assists this season.

Sasktel Goalie of the Month: Cody Jaman, Kindersley Klippers

Despite a 2-2 month of December, Cody Jaman of the Kindersley Klippers put up some great numbers for his hockey club as they battle for a playoff spot. The 19-year-old goaltender allowed just 6 goals in 264 minutes of work and registered a pair of shutouts in the month. He is now tied for the league lead in that category with three other goaltenders.

Saskatchewan Player of the Month: Zac Somers, Melfort Mustangs

Another team that was perfect during the month of December was the Melfort Mustangs who went 8-0. A big reason for that was the return of Zac Somers to the Mustangs line-up. During the month, the University of Maine commit racked up five goals and seven assists. He has also found immediate chemistry with former Yorkton Terriers Captain Clay Sleeva. Somers now has 10 goals and 18 assists on the year.
