Terriers complete holiday sweep of Millionaires

The Yorkton Terriers kicked off 2024 the same way they concluded 2023, with a win over their Highway 10 rivals.

Jye Zawatsky led the way with a pair of goals and an assist, and Ethan Farrow was rock solid in between the pipes making 31 saves in the victory.

Thanks to the two victories in the home and home series, the Terriers are now just four points back of the 8th and final playoff spot.

Meanwhile, for Melville, the regulation loss keeps them two points back of the final playoff spot which is held by the Estevan Bruins.

League play will resume on Wednesday in Nipawin when the Hawks welcome the Kindersley Klippers to the Cage. Kindersley and Nipawin are currently tied for 5th in the SJHL standings.
