The Bombers may have entered the year as clear cut league favorites, but late in the offseason they learned of Ethan Daniels intending to retire (he may have been the team captain) and Chrystopher Collin was plucked by Acadie Bathurst of the QMJHL despite have a commitment to Bowling Green. Still, there’s lots to work with here and Flin Flon should be in the top half of the league.

1998 G Pierce Diamond (Edmonton AB) Tabbed as the man to replace standout goalie Brenden Newton from last year, Diamond is going into his fourth year as a junior and has a lot of playoff experience.
2000 F Vincent Nardone (Rosemere PQ) There always seems to be someone impactful from Quebec in the Bomber line-up. Enter Nardone, who scored 13-goals and 22-assists in 40-games at Ste.-Eustache QMAAA.
2000 F Alec Cokley (New Castle CO USA) 4-goals and 13-assists in 17-games with the Rocky Mountain Roughriders U18 program. He comes from the same team Boots, Moretz, and Daniels played the year before.
2000 F Ryder Richmond (Forrest MB) Played 20-games with the Dauphin Kings MJHL and picked up 5-assists; but was also a Midget AAA regular with Yellowhead (32-1-14-15). Rare experienced first year player.
1999 F Jessie Young (Port Coquitlam BC) Acquired from Weyburn, where he scored 8-goals and 11-assists in 48-games. Bombers feel there’s room for more offense here.
2000 F Reid Robertson (Winnipeg MB) Big time scorer with Winnipeg Thrashers Midget AAA, same team McKenzie played for. (48-23-25-48).
2000 F Billy Klymchuk (Winnipeg MB) Teammate of Robertson, who scored 12-goals and 32-assists in 48-games.
2000 F Matt Flodell (Prince Albert SK) Solid, two-way player, was a regular with Bombers at end of last year. (43-10-15-25 with Battlefords AAA).
2001 F David Hibbs (Bay Roberts NL) Excellent numbers with Tri Pen Osprey Midget AAA (31-18-19-37). Unknown commodity.
2000 D Jaxon White (Warman SK) Played three games with the Bombers last year and there are some openings on defense for White to make his mark (43-4-14-18 with Beardy’s AAA)
