Marquart and Bombers Blank Terriers

The Flin Flon Bombers kicked off their 4 game in 5 night road trip Wednesday night in Yorkton with a 2-0 win over the Terriers.

Kenneth Marquart made 21 saves for his 2nd shutout of the season as the Bombers improved to 28-11-2-1 on the season and are now in sole possession of 3rd place in the SJHL standings.

Zach Cain opened the scoring for the Bombers just 2:05 into the first period to break the ice and Barron Stibbe added some insurance with his first goal of the season late in the 3rd period to secure the win.

Action resumes Thursday night with a pair of games on the schedule. Flin Flon continues their road trip in Weyburn as they battle the Wings and the Notre Dame Hounds host the Nipawin Hawks.
