REGINA, SK – Melfort Mustangs’ forward Noel Englot has committed to Adrian College for the 2026-27 ACHA Division I campaign.
Englot, 20, contributed 19 points in 25 games after his acquisition at the Jan. 10 CJHL Trade Deadline from the Virden Oil Capitals of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League.
He also added two goals and six points in Melfort’s Round 1 series this year with the Battlefords North Stars.
A native of Candiac, SK, Englot played in 136 MJHL games for the Oil Capitals between 2023 and 2026, posting 87 points over that span, and featured in five career MJHL post-season contests.
Englot played Saskatchewan U18AAA hockey between 2021 and 2023, starring for the Regina Pat Canadians.
Adrian College, located in Michigan, also had Yorkton Terriers alumnus Cale Strasky on its roster a year ago.

Englot joined the Mustangs lineup this season and quickly made his presence felt both on and off the ice. A reliable and hardworking forward, he played a key role down the stretch as the team battled its way into a playoff position. His consistency, effort, and ability to contribute in important moments made him a valuable piece of the Mustangs roster.
“Noel played a big role in our push to secure a playoff spot this season,” said Head Coach Trevor Blevins. “He was a great addition to our locker room and brought a strong work ethic every day. We’re proud of his development and excited to see him take the next step in his hockey career.”
Beyond his on-ice contributions, Englot was known as a positive presence in the dressing room, earning the respect of teammates and coaches alike.
The Mustangs organization would like to congratulate Noel on this accomplishment and thank him for his commitment to the team. We wish him all the best as he continues his hockey and academic journey with Adrian College.
