The Battlefords North Stars announced that 2004 born forward Seth Dragan has committed to the Dalhousie University Tigers (USports) in Halifax for the 2025/26 season.

Dragan was acquired by the North Stars early this season, just before the trade deadline from the La Ronge Ice Wolves. Since joining the North Stars, the 6’5, Saskatoon product has been a vital piece to the Battlefords forward group, tallying three goals and 13 assists in just 20 games, all while being a physical force up front. Throughout his entire SJHL career, Dragan has played in 120 games, notching 15 goals and 28 assists for 43 points along with 310 penalty minutes.

Dragan said he looks forward to this next step in his hockey career.

“I am excited for this next chapter in Halifax, taking my game to the next level—both on the ice and in the classroom. I am ready to put in the work and make the most of this opportunity,” he said.

The Tigers compete in the AUS conference of USports with their last conference championship coming in 1978-79 and their last playoff appearance being in 2021/22.
