CANALTA HOTELS SJHL PLAYER OF THE WEEK:  Greyson Reitmeier, Flin Flon Bombers
1996 F Greyson Reitmeier (Nakusp BC) has been on a torrid offensive clip and that continued this past week with 2-goals and 7-assists in 2-games played.  Reitmeier hasn’t been held off the scoresheet since October 29th, a span of 13 games in which he has 11-goals and 19-assists to move into second in the league scoring race.  Runner up:  Ian Parker, Weyburn.

IBAS SJHL DEFENSEMAN OF THE WEEK:  Kendall Fransoo, Battlefords North Stars
1996 D Kendall Fransoo (North Battleford SK) is riding a seven game point scoring streak and has hit the scoresheet in twelve of his last thirteen.  This past week he scored 2-goals and 2-assists in 3-games as he set a career high for points in a season and has also set a new personal bench mark in goals as he is up to 7 and now has 25 total points.  He scored in a game at La Ronge on Wednesday.  He set up one against Yorkton on Friday and had one goal and one assists against Kindersley on Saturday.  Runner up:  Braden Lacoursiere, Flin Flon.

SASKTEL SJHL GOALTENDER OF THE WEEK:  Kristian Stead, Nipawin Hawks
1996 G Kristian Stead (Merritt BC) won both of his starts this past week, blocking 22-of-24 in a victory over Weyburn on Tuesday.  He made saves on 27-of-28 on Saturday, cooling down the prolific Estevan offense.  He’s now 12-8-and-1 with a 2.01 GAA and .935 SPCT.  Runner up:  Taryn Kotchorek, Battlefords.

SJHL ROOKIE OF THE WEEK:  Damian Bentz, Melville Millionaires
1998 F Damian Bentz (Punnichy SK) had a goal and four assists in two games played last week, including a three helper third period on Saturday as the Mils fell just short in a comeback bid against Humboldt.  He scored and set up the game winner against Notre Dame on Wednesday.  He now has 6-goals and 8-assists in 19-games and is emerging as the club’s top offensive threat.  Runner up:  Josh McDougall, Nipawin.
