SOURCE EMBROIDERY POWER RANKINGS

By Mike Stackhouse

1-BATTLEFORDS NORTH STARS (27-6-0-3)   1ST LAST WEEK
Their latest win streak is up to six games.

2-FLIN FLON BOMBERS (19-8-2-2)  2ND LAST WEEK
Won nine of ten with a five game road trip coming up, two of which will be against the North Stars.

3-ESTEVAN BRUINS (23-10-0-1)  3RD LAST WEEK
They’ve lost two straight to two tough teams with a home and home against Notre Dame remaining before the Christmas break.

4-NIPAWIN HAWKS (15-10-2-1)  4TH LAST WEEK
Should the Bombers flounder on their road trip, the Hawks have four games left this month, two against La Ronge and two against Melfort; so they can make up ground.

5-HUMBOLDT BRONCOS (19-14-0-1)  5TH LAST WEEK
They’ll lose Gardiner but gain Korol.  Slowly getting healthy and looking to push their way into the top three of the league.

6-WEYBURN RED WINGS (16-13-1-4)  6TH LAST WEEK
Finding a way to pick up points as they’ve lost six of ten, but earned points in four of those games.

7-MELFORT MUSTANGS (13-14-1-4)   10TH LAST WEEK
Mustangs are starting to string some wins together and look like they could be a handful of trouble in the second half of the season.

8-YORKTON TERRIERS (14-15-3-0)  8TH LAST WEEK
Terriers starting to get healthy and boast good depth through three scoring lines.  Some of their dmen are starting to step up in Seiferling absence.

9-MELVILLE MILLIONAIRES (13-16-1-0)  9TH LAST WEEK
A solid week that may have ended with a loss against Humboldt, but solid character effort to try and come back in the third period.

10-NOTRE DAME HOUNDS (14-13-3-1)  7TH LAST WEEK
Hounds have dropped three in a row as they back into the Christmas break in need of a recharge.

11-KINDERSLEY KLIPPERS (14-21-1-0)  11TH LAST WEEK
They’ve only played 13 home games and that’s something to watch in the second half as they may be able to capitalize on a favorable schedule.

12-LA RONGE ICE WOLVES (6-20-1-4)   12TH LAST WEEK
If they can improve their special teams, they should be able to improve their overall record.
