With just one second left in overtime, Tyler Heidt scored his third goal of the season and the Melfort Mustangs picked up the 2-1 (OT) victory in Melville on Tuesday night.

Jaxon Joseph opened the scoring for the Mustangs (14-14-1-4) in the second period, before Melville’s Damian Bentz, following up his rookie of the week performance, tied the score with just over seven minutes remaining.

Melfort goalie Derrick Hucul made 29/30 saves, while Brandon Wells stopped 32/34 for the Millionaires (13-16-2-0).

Zac Robidoux stopped 33 of the 34 shots he faced and the Flin Flon Bombers went to La Ronge and left with a 4-1 win over the Ice Wolves.

The Bombers (20-8-2-2) picked up their fifth straight win and 20th on the year.  Nick Shumlanski (1g-1a), Jordan McCausland (1g-1a), Jason Lavallee and Mason Etter did the scoring.

The Ice Wolves (6-21-1-4) got on the board first, when Tanner Brewster scored a short-handed marker midway through the second period.
