TERRIERS EDGE BRONCOS SUNDAY

The line of Cole Keenleyside, and Carson & McKenzie Welke combined for nine points, leading the Yorkton Terriers past the Humboldt Broncos 4-3 on Sunday night.

The trio had a goal and two assists, each, while LJ Naccarato added his first of the season for the Terriers (14-15-3-0), and Nathan Hargrave made 37/40 saves in his league-leading 16th win.

Erik Gardiner scored a pair for the Broncos (19-14-0-1), his 14th and 15th of the season while Chris Van Os-Shaw extended his league lead in the goals department with his 25th.

The schedule resumes Tuesday with Flin Flon in La Ronge and Melville hosting Melfort.
