The La Ronge Ice Wolves are pleased to announce that Assistant Coach Kyle Schneider has signed a three-year contract extension through the 2025-26 SJHL season.

“I’m very proud and excited to be given this extension, and to have the chance to continue coaching the La Ronge Ice Wolves under Head Coach/GM Kevin Kaminski,” said Schneider. “I would like to thank Kevin as well as the board of directors for giving me this opportunity and trusting me to continue in this role.”

Schneider’s new contract also contains an additional option year. The Prince Albert, SK product is entering his third season with the Ice Wolves as an assistant coach.

“Over the last two seasons as a coaching staff, we were able to have some success, making the playoffs both seasons. However, we are looking to take the next step and win playoff series,” said Schneider.

“This upcoming season, we have a great group of core players returning as we were a younger group last season, but we do have some holes to fill. I’m very excited to continue recruiting this summer. As a staff, I think we are all confident when looking forward to the 2023-24 campaign.”

Prior to joining the Ice Wolves, Schneider finished a three-year playing career with the Ice Wolves in 2020.
