1-FLIN FLON BOMBERS (2-0)
Last season’s runner-ups had, arguably, the toughest weekend match up and won both games.

2-BATTLEFORDS NORTH STARS (2-0)
Plenty of talent and a new face behind the bench, but the same old results.

3-MELFORT MUSTANGS (2-0)
The two time defending champs have lost a lot of offense but it appears they have others ready to step up.

4-WEYBURN RED WINGS (2-0)
A Solid foundation on defense, led by Eskra and Lagler led them to a weekend sweep.

5-ESTEVAN BRUINS (2-0)
An excellent start for a team that, supposedly, had left the cupboard bare after going for it last year.

6-HUMBOLDT BRONCOS (2-0)
Potential to surprise is there as Darcy Haugen shapes ‘his’ team.

7-NIPAWIN HAWKS (0-1-1)
Goals were hard to come by against the Bombers this weekend.

8-YORKTON TERRIERS (0-1-1)
With Casey O’Brien assuming full control so late in the postseason, a slower start is to be expected.

9-NOTRE DAME HOUNDS (0-2)
Lots to like about this roster if they can bring the goals against down.

10-KINDERSLEY KLIPPERS (0-2)
Tough draw to face the Stars on opening weekend.  New captain Pickett scores twice.

11-LA RONGE ICE WOLVES (0-2)
Didn’t score much and gave up a ton against a Mustang team that looks powerful again.

12-MELVILLE MILLIONAIRES (0-2)
Struggled at both ends of the ice and disappointed home fans by getting shutout.
