SOURCE EMBROIDERY POWER RANKINGS (Sept 23)

1-BATTLEFORDS NORTH STARS (4-0)
Healthy returning cast from last year’s champions with some impact newcomers sprinkled in.

2-NIPAWIN HAWKS (4-0)
They always seem to have a quality starting goalie and after trial and error, it appears Ethan Slobodzian will fill that gap.

3-NOTRE DAME HOUNDS (3-1)
A strong veteran in goal, depth on defense, scoring options up and down the lineup.

4-FLIN FLON BOMBERS (3-1)
Top line of Houle-Rafuse-Malo could be the most lethal in the league.

5-MELVILLE MILLIONAIRES (2-1-0-1)
The ease with which they’ve filled the net may be a bit of a surprise, they’ll be in the mix if they can keep it up.

6-MELFORT MUSTANGS (3-2)
After an alarming opening weekend that produced 0 goals, the Mustangs have won three straight.

7-HUMBOLDT BRONCOS (1-2-0-1)
Maybe they missed the memo on when the season started.  After dropping three, they lit up Flin Flon for 9 on Saturday in a statement game.

8-KINDERSLEY KLIPPERS (2-3)
A bit unsettled to start the season, but Larry Wintoneak has done a fine job keeping the team even steven through the early going.

9-ESTEVAN BRUINS (1-3)
Questions about where the offense is going to come from, but the play of Keenan Rancier in goal has them in every contest.

10-LA RONGE ICE WOLVES (1-5)
The last team to get a win, but Mannon-Ford-Bannister give them a solid nucleus up front.

11-WEYBURN RED WINGS (1-3)
Losers of three straight after opening with a win.  They could be thin in goals scored, but De Kok and Decottignies have been a revelation through the early going.

12-YORKTON TERRIERS (1-3)
It’s likely the face of the team changes in the weeks ahead and it starts this week with first liner Alec Zawatsky being added to the line-up.  Defenseman Tyson Janzen should be back from injury soon.
