SOURCE EMBROIDERY POWER RANKINGS (Nov 20)

By Mike Stackhouse

1-HUMBOLDT BRONCOS (18-6-2)  -2-
No player is hotter than Michael Clarke as he is leading the charge during Humboldt’s six game win streak.

2-MELFORT MUSTANGS (17-6-1)  -4-
No player has been as consistent as Justin Ball and the Mustangs are riding a seven game win streak.

3-FLIN FLON BOMBERS (15-6-0-2)  -1-
Since opening weekend, Pierce Diamond is 9-2-0-2, 2.13, .934.  An underrated star between the pipes.

4-BATTLEFORDS NORTH STARS (14-8-1-3)  -3-
It’s always good to see local products excel for their hometown teams and Owen Lamb (14 goals) and Braydon Buziak (9 points in his last 9 games) are solid examples.

5-KINDERSLEY KLIPPERS (14-7-2-1)  -6-
Offense is harder to come by as of late with Damon McKenzie being the only Klipper to have more than 2 goals this month.

6-NIPAWIN HAWKS (15-8-0-1)  -5-
Jordan Simoneau (5 goals) is the only Hawk to score more than twice in the last six games.

7-YORKTON TERRIERS (12-9-1)  -8-
If Ben Laidlaw turns in more games like he did against Notre Dame and Estevan last week, the Terriers can make some hay with their games in hand.

8-ESTEVAN BRUINS (13-13-1)  -7-
Defenseman Jake Heerspink is hot (10-points in 9-games) but the loss of Will Koop to injury damages the depth up front.

9-NOTRE DAME HOUNDS (11-12-2-3)  -10-
A bit of a roster shake up as Bankowski and Woodford move on, but Penner takes advantage with a Rookie Of The Week performance.

10-MELVILLE MILLIONAIRES (7-15-2-2)  -11-
Grinding out wins despite not having a clear top line that scares the opposition.

11-WEYBURN RED WINGS (8-14-2-0)  -9-
Wings have hit the doldrums again with three straight losses.  The goals against are creeping up too and it’s produced a 3-9-and-1 mark in the last 30-days.

12-LA RONGE ICE WOLVES (6-20)  -12-
Despite nine straight losses, Zach Bannister continues to, simply, produce points. He has 14 in his last 10.
