Yorkton Terriers’ forward Brett Butz has committed to the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology for the 2024-2025 Alberta Collegiate Athletic Conference campaign.
Butz, 20, posted 48 points in 105 games over two seasons for the Terriers, joining them in the off-season of 2022 from SSAC in Edmonton.
The 5-foot-11, 185-pound centreman joins Highway 10 rival Payton Kostyshyn of the Melville Millionaires as SJHLers committed to SAIT so far this year.
SAIT, based in Calgary, AB, featured 10 SJHL alumni this past season.
