BRUINS WIN BIG

The Estevan Bruins kicked off a three game road trip with a bang, beating the Humboldt Broncos 7-3 in Thursday’s only SJHL action.

Matt McNeil led the way with his 12th goal of the season, and three assists for a four point night.  Brendan Mark (1g-1a), Lynnden Pastachak, Levi Barnstable, Josh Rieger, Hayden Guilderson and Matthew Kesserling rounded out the scoring, and Curtis Meger made 26/29 saves.

Estevan improved their Viterra Division leading record to 17-7-0-1, and continue their trip to Kindersley on Friday, and Battlefords Saturday.

Josh Roberts, Luke Kempf and Connor Swystun had the goals for the Broncos (15-8-0-1).
