REGINA, SK – The Estevan Bruins scored three times in the first period and held off a late Humboldt rally to outlast the Broncos 5-3 at the Elgar Petersen Arena Wednesday.

Kent Moors led the way with two goals and three points, extending his goal-scoring streak to three games.

In the night’s other contest in Kindersley, the Klippers handed the Hounds a late lifeline through a D.J. Freigang power-play goal to tie the game at one with just under three minutes remaining in regulation. The hosts dug deep, however, and got a late winner from Will Christian at the 18:13 mark of the final frame.
