The first busy game night of 2024 was Friday night with four games. Six of the eight teams who took to the ice Friday were playing in their first game since the holiday break.
The evening was highlighted by the Weyburn Red Wings winning a key divisional matchup at home against their Highway 39 rivals, the Estevan Bruins. The win vaults the Wings into first place in the Viterra division.
