Millionaires Snap Losing Streak

The 6 game losing streak has officially come to an end for the Melville Millionaires as they earned a 6-3 win over the Kindersley Klippers Wednesday night at home.

However, it wasn’t easy for the Mills, who trailed 3-2 after 40 minutes of play and needed a 4 goal 3rd period to get the victory.

Carter McKay and Louis-Fredric Theberge each had a pair of goals in the win and Clement Labillois was solid in between the pipes making 23 saves.

Kindersley will look to get back in the win column when they head back to Yorkton on Friday for another game against the Terriers before these two clubs meet again at the HCUC Saturday.

Highlights from last night’s game can be found below.

Thursday is now a day off in the SJHL following the postponement of La Ronge & Battlefords game, but action resumes Friday with three games on the schedule.
