Terriers dream start continues

REGINA, SK – Rookie Evan Auld scored twice, and all five goals came in the second period as the Yorkton Terriers’ perfect start to the season continued Tuesday with a 4-1 victory at home over the Flin Flon Bombers.

Captain Jaron Desnoyers notched his league-leading eighth goal of the year, and Aiden Knutson’s third of the campaign counted as the game-winner at the 8:04 mark of the middle frame to make the Terriers the first team in the SJHL to go to 5-0 on the campaign.

Ethan Farrow stopped 29 of 30 shots for the nation’s third-ranked team, while Kenneth Marquart replied with 26 stops in net for Flin Flon.
